August means back to school for many families—new schedules, new routines and calendars that quickly fill up. As we make sure our children have everything they need for a successful school year, it is also a good time to get back to basics with our own health.

Recently, the Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital Foundation purchased a ZEISS KINEVO 900 S surgical microscope and a CUSA® Cavitron Ultrasonic Surgical Aspirator for the hospital’s surgical team with proceeds from the Frontier Toyota Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital Golf Classic. Advanced technology is remarkable—but placed in the hands of skilled physicians and caregivers, it becomes life-changing and lifesaving.
July is a month of progress and momentum at Henry Mayo as we celebrate important milestones that reflect our continued commitment to delivering exceptional care close to home.
A Time of New Beginnings The month of June is often a season of new beginnings—marked by meaningful graduations, joyful weddings, and exciting new chapters. I’m delighted to share that this June brings new beginnings both for me and for Henry Mayo.
May is a month of celebration at Henry Mayo. We began the month by honoring our dedicated Nursing team during the nationally recognized Nurse’s Week. Our nurses support every clinical department and play a vital role in the entire patient experience. We are deeply grateful for all they do.
