June Foundation Message

July is a month of progress and momentum at Henry Mayo as we celebrate important milestones that reflect our continued commitment to delivering exceptional care close to home.

Before highlighting this month's accomplishments, I would like to take a moment to personally thank everyone who has welcomed me into my new role for the Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital Foundation. Having spent nearly 15 years serving this incredible organization, it is an honor to continue working alongside our dedicated board members, physicians, employees, volunteers, donors, and community partners in this new capacity. I am grateful for your encouragement and support and look forward to strengthening existing relationships while building many new ones. My door is always open, and I welcome the opportunity to meet with anyone who would like to learn more about our mission, our priorities, and the many ways we can work together to advance healthcare in our community.

This month, we proudly recognize our Roberta G. Veloz Cardiovascular Services team for successfully completing its 200th Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR) procedure. This remarkable achievement is a testament to the skill, collaboration, and dedication of our physicians, nurses, and clinical teams. Reaching this milestone demonstrates the continued growth and excellence of our cardiovascular program while ensuring patients have access to advanced, lifesaving heart care right here in our community.

We are also excited to celebrate the upcoming AFC/Henry Mayo Grand Opening on July 22. This new partnership represents another important step in expanding access to high-quality healthcare services throughout the Santa Clarita Valley. By working together, we continue to make it easier for patients and families to receive the care they need, when and where they need it.

These accomplishments are only possible because of the extraordinary people who make Henry Mayo what it is. Every milestone reflects a shared commitment to improving the health and well-being of those we serve. Together, we are advancing Henry Mayo's vision of being the Most Patient-Centric Hospital Anywhere.

As we look ahead to the second half of the year, I am excited about the opportunities ahead. Together, we will continue investing in innovative programs, expanding access to care, and ensuring our community has the exceptional healthcare it deserves.
