April Foundation Presidents Message

It has been said, “Volunteers are love in motion!” In the month of April, we celebrate all of our wonderful volunteers at Henry Mayo. Over 300 individuals—along with dozens of pets—support our hospital by assisting various clinical units and hospital departments, greeting and guiding visitors, providing shuttle services, checking in on patients, assisting with spiritual care, staffing our gift shop, and leading popular programs such as pet and music therapy. Volunteers truly make a difference!

Spring also marks preparations for our 53rd annual golf tournament—the Frontier Toyota Henry Mayo Golf Classic. We are deeply grateful to Aman Abraham for continuing the proud legacy of Frontier Toyota as our presenting sponsor. Held each year on the second weekend of May, the tournament coincides with a time when we highlight and celebrate our dedicated trauma and emergency services. Funds raised from this prestigious event help ensure that our Emergency Department and trauma programs remain state-of-the-art. We are thankful for our many generous sponsors and players who make this tournament such a success. Consider purchasing an opportunity ticket to support this important cause!

As part of our commitment to being patient-centered, we have designated the Orchard Village parking lot as the primary parking area for patients and visitors. Because of its proximity to our main entrance, this helps ensure easy and convenient access to the hospital for patients and their families at all times.
