July Foundation President's Message

Summer has indeed arrived in the Santa Clarita Valley! We hope you and your family are enjoying relaxing days and opportunities to take advantage of the free Concerts in the Park and other community activities, as well as visiting our nearby beaches and mountains. We also want to encourage the health and safety of your family during this very warm season. Our Henry Mayo “It’s Your Health” podcast series offers great informational broadcasts, including Pool Safety.

Henry Mayo Fitness and Health is a great place to continue your physical fitness journey and stay out of the heat! Consider checking out this state-of-the-art health club and its assortment of classes and equipment available.

Let’s give special recognition to our hardworking Foundation Board! Thank you to the dedicated volunteers who help our not-for-profit hospital’s Foundation raise money to support new equipment, capital projects and growth of our services. Led by Nick Mitchell, Executive Vice President of Logix Federal Credit Union, our Board helps to increase our community awareness and raise vital funds for Hospital initiatives to bolster the level of care already available at our hospital. Together with our very generous supporters, they benefit our community, and we invite you to view our current Board Roster.

This month, we also feature great partners in philanthropy, Fred and Andi Gruber. We are so appreciative of their long-time support and their recent investment in new equipment for our Cardiac Rehab Center! Thanks to many folks like the Gruber’s, we continue to improve!
