Galentine’s Day Celebration

On Thursday, February 12, 2026, close to 100 supporters gathered on the patio of Salt Creek Grille to celebrate the incredible strides made by the Roberta G. Veloz Cardiovascular Services at Henry Mayo. The Galentine's event was a heartwarming night filled with good food, crafted cocktails, and inspiring conversation.

Guests mingled and enjoyed delicious bites while sipping on custom cocktails before the event’s main highlight. Dr. James Lee, the Medical Director of Cardiovascular Services at Henry Mayo, shared exciting updates and expressed gratitude for the community's continued support.

Dr. Lee proudly announced that Henry Mayo had recently received the prestigious ACC Cath Lab accreditation, making it the first hospital in Los Angeles County to earn this distinction. He emphasized that this achievement was made possible by the dedication of the hardworking cardiovascular team, whose commitment to excellence in patient care continues to set new standards.

Not only was the night a celebration of success, but it also served as a reminder of the ongoing need for support. Dr. Lee mentioned the hospital’s efforts to meet the growing demand for cardiovascular services, including the construction of a second cath lab. He encouraged attendees to keep supporting the cause and to help raise awareness in the community.
