Early Detection Saved My Life

Every year around Valentine’s Day, I schedule my annual mammogram. It’s my way of practicing self-love—and this year, that simple act of self-care saved my life.

My journey began with one routine mammogram at the Sheila R. Veloz Breast Center, where advanced technology, compassionate caregivers, and a partnership with Keck Medicine of USC provide exceptional breast care close to home.

Today, I encourage every woman to prioritize her breast health. Early detection can make all the difference.
