Her Four Point Philosophy is to 1) Establish an accurate Physical Therapy diagnosis: Based on patient history, medical study results, and thorough musculoskeletal differential diagnostic testing. Determining the many musculoskeletal dysfunctions that may be contributing to a patient's specific pelvic floor or vascular system dysfunction is critical to designing an appropriate treatment plan. 2) Establish an individualized treatment program: Including expert manual therapy; traditional modalities including ultrasound and electrical stimulation; state of the art modalities including the Cold Laser, Physiotouch and Multi Chambered Vasopneumatic Pumps; and a home program. 3) Establish an appropriate home program: Based on a creative team effort between the clinician and the patient such that it takes into account their abilities/disabilities, work or home schedule, and support system. Being creative is particularly important when a patient has debilitating pelvic pain or is undergoing cancer treatments. Practical and effective home programs ensure patient compliance and the best possible quality of life outcomes. 4) Establish good communication with the patient's medical team: Including Physicians, Surgeons,Physicians Assistants, Nurse Practitioners, Chiropractors and holistic practitioners. Elizabeth has enjoyed collaborating with many gifted Physician and Surgeon's from the Henry Mayo / Santa Clarita Community, the broader regions of California as well as from other states.English
