Childbirth Education Series

A comprehensive 4-week course for you and your significant other, covering everything you need to know about pregnancy and beyond.

Week 1 to 3: This is a childbirth education course that covers:
  • Pregnancy
  • Stages of labor
  • Pain management
  • Relaxation techniques
  • Cesarean section
  • The post-partum period
  • Newborn care
  • Maternal Mental Health

Sessions 1-3 must be taken together.

Baby Care Basics - Free Online Zoom Class

This informal class will help new parents feel more comfortable caring for their newborn. Taught by a pediatrician; topics include newborn care, sleep patterns, vaccinations, and sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS).

This is an online Zoom meeting and prior registration is needed. A discussion session will allow opportunities for questions..

First Weeks Breastfeeding Workshop

Thursdays: 9:00 -10:00 a.m. & 10:15-11:15 a.m.

Held at the Henry Mayo Health and Fitness Center in Community Education.

COST: FREE w/ online registration

Successful Breastfeeding - Free Online Zoom Class

Taught by one of our very own Lactation Specialist, you will learn the art of successful breastfeeding!

Things you will learn in this class:

  • How your hormones relate to milk production
  • Proper positioning and latch-on techniques
  • Common breastfeeding problems
  • Pumping
