Kelly Walsma, M.D., Appointed to Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital Board of Directors

Kelly Walsma. M.D., a board-certified critical care, pulmonary and neurocritical care medicine physician, was recently appointed to the Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital Board of Directors on March 7. Dr. Walsma has served as an Intensivist Physician at Henry Mayo since 2017. She currently serves as President of SCCT Medical Group and is Chair of the Henry Mayo’s Ethics Committee.

Dr. Walsma completed her Pulmonary and Critical Care Fellowship at the University of Southern California, where she was named Fellow of the Year, and previously earned Resident of the Year during her Internal Medicine residency at the University of Missouri-Columbia.

“I am pleased to welcome Dr. Walsma to the Henry Mayo board,” said Dale Donohoe, Henry Mayo board chair. “Her clinical expertise and medical staff leadership skills will be of great value in her role as a board member.”
