Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital Appoints Kelly Galbo, DNP, MBA, RN, as Vice President and Chief Nursing Officer

Kelly Galbo, DNP, MBA, RN, has been appointed Vice President and Chief Nursing Officer of Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital.  

Galbo brings extensive experience in nursing leadership, with a strong background in acute care operations, clinical excellence, and patient-centered care. In 2024, she was appointed Executive Director of Operations – Acute Care Services at Providence Holy Cross Medical Center in Mission Hills. She previously served four years as Executive Director of Nursing – Acute Care Services at Providence Holy Cross Medical Center in Mission Hills, following three years as Director of Nursing Administration and earlier Administrative Management roles.

In addition to her deep work experience, Galbo has an extensive academic background.  She holds a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree, a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Healthcare Administration, and a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree in Leadership and Management.
