Celebrating a Milestone in Structural Heart Care: 200 TAVR Procedures

Our Roberta G. Veloz Cardiovascular Services is proud to announce the successful completion of 200 Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR) procedures - an important milestone that reflects our commitment to providing excellent cardiovascular care to our community.

Under the leadership of Structural Heart Director, Abhishek Sinha, MD and through the dedication of our multidisciplinary team, which includes interventional cardiologists, cardiothoracic surgeons, cardiac anesthesiologist, our TAVR Coordinator Rosella Dolan, imaging specialists, nurses, technologists and support staff, our program has achieved outstanding clinical outcomes that compare favorably with national benchmarks.

These outstanding results reflect comprehensive pre-procedural planning, technical excellence, and coordinated multidisciplinary care. 

"Since we started the TAVR program at Henry Mayo in 2021, our goal has always been to provide the highest quality structural heart care for the community," said Dr. Sinha.
