Located in the Outpatient Surgery Building on Henry Mayo’s campus, the outpatient surgery center provides patients with access to same-day surgery for a variety of conditions.

When it opened in 1990, Henry Mayo’s outpatient surgery center performed surgery on 1,000 patients per year. Now that number has increased to 3,300 patients annually, with multi-specialty procedures ranging from general surgery such as breast cancer surgery and reconstruction and hernia repairs to the latest in orthopedic arthroscopies including knee, shoulder, and ACL repairs.

Other surgical services include ophthalmology (including corneal transplants and cataract removal), ear, nose, and throat (sinus endoscopic repairs, tonsil and adenoid removal, and more) plastic surgery, podiatry (bunionectomy and other foot repair cases), gynecology, urology, and vascular procedures, such as the latest in varicose vein treatment.

There are four operating rooms, plus recovery and special procedures rooms, and the center is open Monday through Friday during standard business hours.

Easily accessible to the growing population of the Santa Clarita Valley, the center is conveniently located on Henry Mayo’s campus so that, if needed, critical services are just a few steps away.
