Twice a month, a team of breast cancer specialists meet to review cases, share knowledge, and discuss treatment options, in order to help chart your best possible outcome.
This is our Breast Conference, and we created it specifically to provide you the most appropriate treatment and optimal care.
Bringing Knowledge Together
Our Breast Conference group is a multidisciplinary team of experts, encompassing breast surgeons, radiation oncologists, medical oncologists, pathologists, diagnostic radiologists, our breast health navigator, and at times a plastic surgeon, social worker, or the patient’s primary care physician.
By bringing together these specialized fields of knowledge, we’ve created a powerful way to review even the most challenging and complex cases, from diagnosis to lab results, pathology studies, to radiological or surgical results—and to collaborate in the best forum to determine best treatment.
Personalizing Optimal Care
In the Breast Conference, a surgeon can discuss surgery and cleared margins, a pathologist can outline the diagnosis, and a radiation oncologist and medical oncologist can discuss any potential complexities and treatments.
Based on their findings, and on their peers’ input, they design a treatment plan, tailor-made just for you. The end result is personal care, specifically for you and your individual needs—ensuring the most optimum possible outcome.
