Learning to Love Our Body
Body image is something almost everyone struggles with in one way or another, but is a topic often overlooked when it comes to mental and physical health. Community Education is here to support all facets of health. While much of our focus is on behavior changes involving food and exercise, we can’t ignore the fact that to make changes to our body, we have to start out loving it!
Our “Body Image in Adulthood” class helps navigate the tricky aspects of body image- how we may develop negative body image, how to shift towards a healthy body image, and how to foster body positivity in our kids. We only have one body; let us help you feel good in it!
