Dr. Abdeen earned his medical degree from the University of California, San Diego School of Medicine in 1994. He completed his internship and residency in internal medicine at UC San Diego Medical Center, finishing in 1998. He then went on to complete a fellowship in nephrology at UC San Diego in 2001.
