Monica El-Masry, M.D., is an associate clinical professor in the Department of Medical Oncology & Therapeutics Research at City of Hope® Simi Valley, where she treats patients with all cancer types and hematologic conditions.
She is committed to providing personalized, compassionate care and understands that each patient’s journey is unique. Dr. El-Masry takes time to listen to her patients’ stories and treats each individual as part of her own family, honoring their cultural, religious, and personal values. Dr. El-Masry earned her medical degree from the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA, completed her residency at UCLA–Olive View Medical Center, and her fellowship at UC Irvine’s Chao Comprehensive Cancer Center. She has authored over a dozen peer-reviewed publications, presented at national conferences, and is a two-time recipient of the Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital Doctors Day Award for Outstanding Patient Care.
