Evelyn Tran, MD

Dr. Evelyn Tran, M.D., is a refractive cataract surgeon and comprehensive ophthalmologist from Los Angeles. A graduate of Williams College with a B.A. in Biology and a focus in Spanish, she later contributed to impactful research at UCLA’s Broad Stem Cell Research Center. Dr. Tran earned her medical degree from Thomas Jefferson University, where she received a research scholarship at Wills Eye Hospital and served as Ophthalmology Society president. She completed her internship at Riverside Community Hospital and residency at Temple University, representing Pennsylvania as an American Academy of Ophthalmology Advocacy Ambassador. Board-eligible and published in leading ophthalmology journals, Dr. Tran is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the California Academy of Eye Physicians and Surgeons.
