Armen Hagopjanian, DPM, FACFAS, is a board-certified foot and ankle surgeon practicing at the Los Angeles Institute of Foot and Ankle Surgery, with offices in Northridge, Burbank, and Santa Clarita. He is also on staff at Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital, where he provides expert care to patients in the Santa Clarita Valley.

Dr. Hagopjanian specializes in foot and ankle trauma and reconstruction, total ankle replacement and stabilization, bunion correction, arthroscopic surgery, sports injuries, diabetic foot care, and limb salvage. He was the first podiatric surgeon to establish a total ankle replacement program in Los Angeles and continues to train surgeons across the country in this complex procedure.

He began his medical education at Yerevan State Medical Institute in Armenia before earning a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology and Molecular Genetics from UCLA. He received his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine from the California College of Podiatric Medicine (now Samuel Merritt College) and completed his surgical residency at Western Medical Center in Orange County.

Dr. Hagopjanian is board-certified in foot and ankle surgery as well as reconstructive rearfoot and ankle surgery. He is a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons and a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association, the California Podiatric Medical Association, and the American College of Foot and Ankle Pediatrics.

He is fluent in English, Armenian, and Russian, and has held leadership roles including Vice President of the Los Angeles Society of Foot and Ankle Surgeons and Chief of Podiatry at Providence Saint Joseph Medical Center and Northridge Hospital.
