Baby Care Basic's - Free In-person Class
This informal class will help new parents feel more comfortable caring for their newborn. Taught by a pediatrician; topics include newborn care, sleep patterns, vaccinations, and sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS). **Nursing students: Please do NOT sign up online for this class without prior permission from our department. Please call 661-200-1520. Any documents that need to be signed can be sent after the class is finished at laboroflove@henrymayo.com. Please note, this class is up to 3 hours, you will receive credit for the length of time the class actually was.

CPR - Community CPR
Heartsaver® CPR AED is a classroom, video-based, instructor-led American Heart Association (AHA) course that teaches adult, child, and infant CPR and AED use, as well as how to relieve choking on an adult and infant. This course teaches skills with AHA’s research-proven Practice-While-Watching (PWW) technique, which allows instructors to observe the students, provide feedback and guide the students’ learning of skills.
