Community, Caring For Your Heart, Vascular

Atrial fibrillation (also called AFib or AF) is a quivering or irregular heartbeat (arrhythmia) that can lead to blood clots, stroke, heart failure and other heart-related complications. At least 2.7 million Americans are living with AFib.

Our clinical staff will present and discuss the following topics during this one hour presentation. There will be time for questions at the end of the session:

1. What is Atrial Fibrillation?

2. What are the risk factors?

3. Symptoms of A-Fib

4. Tests and treatment that you should know about.
