RN New Graduate and Specialty Training Program
RN New Grad Program
Typically each Spring and Fall. New Grad Programs are offered as needed and posted as New Grad RN on our Career Site. Our next RN New Grad Program will be announced soon!
The program is a paid 12-week mentorship program providing a mix of classroom and hands on clinical experience in the following areas:
- Medical Surgical & Telemetry Med-Surg
The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for the delivery of patient care utilizing the nursing process through data collection and assessment, identifying and determining the priority of patient care, and evaluating the process and outcome of nursing care. The RN coordinates, provides and directs patient teaching activities and coordinates the care provided by health team members. The RN possesses good interpersonal and teamwork skills and practices the Core Values of Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital.
- Must have current California RN licensure.
- BSN Graduates preferred. ASN nurses with proof of BSN enrollment.
- Must have current BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
- ACLS certification from the American Heart Association will be required for Telemetry Med-Surg units.
Transitional Training Program
A mentorship program designed to provide experienced RNs classroom and hands on clinical experience to work in a particular specialty area. The program is a paid 12+ week program (depending on specialty) offered in the following areas:
- ICU, DOU, ER, OR
Transitional Training Programs are offered as needed and posted as Transitional RN on our Career Site.
