We're proud to be the top choice for maternity services by physicians and parents of the Santa Clarita Valley community. We offer parents a secure, serene birthing experience that respects the decisions and desires of the mother, her family, and her physician.
Our Community Spirit
The majority of nurses working in Henry Mayo's Women's Unit live in the Santa Clarita community. They treat every patient like a friend and neighbor, because often they are. In fact, some of our nurses have seen their grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends' children born here. Yet no matter who they are or how many miles they've traveled, each patient receives the same friendly, compassionate, experienced care. That's because our nurses' community spirit embraces every mother, infant, and family member who passes through this unit.
Clinical Competency
Our experienced, 100% obstetrical-trained nursing team stays current with changes in their profession and is committed to providing exceptional health care to mothers and their infants. Our nurses and respiratory therapists are also certified in neonatal resuscitation. In addition, our nurses who care for infants are certified in infant stabilization.
