Silver Rose Debutante Program
The Hospital Guild established its debutante program in 1985 to raise funds for the hospital and to provide an opportunity for young women to grow socially and personally. Encompassing community service and social events, the program supports the hospital's ER expansion.
As a Silver Rose Debutante, each girl will experience personal and social enrichment as part of a very unique program in the Santa Clarita Valley. The social calendar is sprinkled with Debutante-hosted events that incorporate guest instructors covering topics from wardrobe coordination to skin care and make-up to social correspondence and etiquette. These events, taking the form of pool parties, dinner parties, dessert parties, slumber parties, or other fun formats, will prepare young ladies for public appearances and social functions.

While the first half of the program deals more with the acquiring new skill and knowledge, the second half allows the young ladies to put into action everything that they have learned. Four major events throughout the year allows each Silver Rose Debutante to experience a personal wonders that will remain with them for years to come. These events, sponsored by the Henry Mayo Newhall Memorial Hospital Guild will usher them proudly into the realm of social awareness and civic responsibility. The events are listed below.
