October Is Breast Cancer Awareness Month
Each year during Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October, local community organizations work with the Foundation and the Sheila R. Veloz Breast Imaging Center to help expand the hospital's program of support, diagnosis and treatment for women battling this devastating disease. The committee's efforts include fundraising and community awareness activities.
