The Sheila R. Veloz Breast Imaging Center was created by Henry Mayo Newhall Memorial Hospital through the experiences of Santa Clarita Valley breast cancer survivors, patients and their families. The breast imaging center is designed with your physical and emotional needs in mind. The environment is peaceful, yet highly attentive to your needs.
Our expertise in cancer detection services is defined by the latest in digital technology for mammograms, highly skilled medical and technical professionals, and input and collegial consultancy from the area's leading oncologists and other medical specialists. We are fully equipped with digital mammography and conventional mammography, and our technologists are highly proficient in ultrasound and stereotactic biopsy procedures. If needed, fine needle aspiration services are also made available while you are here.
Your experience in the breast imaging center will include learning about self-examination, local cancer support groups, healthy living and options for care and treatment.
