Maternity

We are honored to be the top choice for maternity sevices by local physicians and parents in our community. Our family-oriented and caring team of obstetrical nursing professionals are proud to be a part of the miracle of birth for so many children born here in the Santa Clarita Valley since we opened in 1975.

Convenient pre-admission services are available to make your visit on the day of delivery easier and less stressful
Classes and tours are offered to expectant moms, new soon-to-be parents, siblings and family members.
We accept most health plans, including Medi-Cal and a cash payment option.

Childbirth and Parenting Classes
Tender Care Prenatal and Postpartum Education and Support Services of Henry Mayo Newhall Memorial Hospital offers a comprehensive program aimed at helping expectant parents with everything from preparing for childbirth, caring for a newborn, breastfeeding to nutrition counseling and safe postpartum weight loss.
Parent Preview Tour
The Parent Preview is an informative program designed to introduce expectant parents to the Hospital's maternity services, including patient registration and business office procedures. Patients are invited to meet the team and enjoy a free tour of the maternity unit. Held every Thursday at 7:30 p.m., this adult-only tour requires no reservations. Meet in the hospital lobby by 7:20 p.m.

Tyke Hike
Your children will learn what being a sibling to a newborn is all about, how to behave safely around a newborn, holding a newborn properly, and where Mommy stays when she comes to the hospital. At the end of the visit, each child gets a free gift from our staff. To sign up for the next "Tyke Hike" please call 661/253-8051. This wonderful program is organized by the Henry Mayo Newhall Memorial Hospital Auxiliary.
