Acute Psychiatric Care - Behavioral Health Services
Located on the campus of Henry Mayo Newhall Memorial Hospital in the beautiful Santa Clarita Valley, our Behavioral Health Unit is an LPS designated acute psychiatric care facility. We provide a warm, friendly, safe and comfortable environment for adult male or female patients with psychological symptoms that require a secure inpatient facility. We believe that patients are happiest in a clean and attractive setting—which is important to their progress and recovery.

Our health care professionals are among the most experienced in the behavioral health field and each one is specially trained in emergency procedures and crisis intervention. Admission and Referrals
Admission to the Behavioral Health Unit can be on a voluntary or involuntary basis. Payment methods accepted include most major insurance plans, private pay, Medical and Medicare. Referrals from other health care providers and insurance carriers are always welcome. Our staff will work with providers to develop a consistent, uniform approach to help stabilize their patients in a timely manner. We also welcome inquiries from individuals who are concerned about the welfare of family members or others who are receiving or may require treatment for a psychological disorder.
