RN New Graduate and Specialty Training Program

Our next RN New Grad Program will begin September 11, 2017

The program is a paid 12-week program mixed with classroom and patient care training in the following areas:

•        Medical Surgical

•        Telemetry Med-Surg


The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for the delivery of patient care utilizing the nursing process through data collection and assessment, identifying and determining the priority of patient care, and evaluating the process and outcome of nursing care. The RN coordinates, provides and directs patient teaching activities and coordinates the care provided by health team members. The RN possesses good interpersonal and teamwork skills and practices the Core Values of Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital.



• Must have current California RN licensure.

• BSN Graduates preferred.  ASN nurses with proof of BSN enrollment.

• Must have current BLS certification from the American Heart Association.

• ACLS certification from the American Heart Association will be required for Telemetry Med-Surg units.
